Big rave to Advanced Family Dental. I’m absolutely afraid of the dentist due to a horrible experience at the ER where a Dr tried to be a dentist and traumatized me years ago. I was met by a smiling receptionist & kind words of support, then I had Courtney bring me back who empathized and sympathized in a huge way with my anxiety. I had 2 molars pulled and there was no way it was happening without being gassed!! Her & the dentist (I was too far gone to catch which dentist I had) made sure I was comfortable and even gave me a few minutes to re-center between teeth. A big reason I am writing this rave is at one point I felt a panic attack coming on and as if she knew, I felt Courtney’s hand on mine. (My eyes were closed) It was immediate reassurance & I’m tearing up now just remembering how much that small gesture helped calm me. She may thought of it as nothing but it’s proof that the smallest of acts can actually be the hugest thing for another. As I was leaving my husband had talked to the front desk ladies and got me this squishy stress Unicorn that may be my bestie now! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!
