Dental Implants Casper

Missing Teeth Options in Casper, WY

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.

Dental implants are changing the way people live! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.

Why Dental Implants?
Losing a tooth can be devastating, not only because it affects the way you look, but also because it can lead to other physical problems that may affect your health and prevent you from smiling with confidence. It is vitally important to replace missing teeth with dental implants promptly in order to prevent health consequences such as:

  • Bone loss
  • Shifting and drifting of the teeth
  • Alteration in the bite as a result of shifting teeth
  • Jaw joint problems
  • Difficulty in chewing properly
  • Additional stress on the remaining teeth

There are many benefits to replacing missing teeth with dental implants, chiefly that they:

  • Maintain the integrity of bone structure after tooth loss
  • Preserve the health of adjacent teeth, since there is no need for bridgework
  • Replace loose-fitting dentures
  • Distribute bite forces evenly throughout the mouth
  • Function and feel like natural teeth
  • Improve speaking ability when bulky dentures are eliminated
  • Improve facial appearance by preventing bone loss

Dental Implant Placement Process

Planning stage:

We will have you schedule an appointment to have one of our assistants take a CT Scan of you.

Dr Steve will then analyze the CT Scan and design your implant surgical guide.

Dr Steve or Dr Larsen will place the dental implant in the ideal spot to form the gum tissue around the implant.

Healing:

The bone around the dental implant will grow and integrate with the new implant in a matter of 4 months.

Abutment placement and Porcelain crown Impression:

When healing is complete, the dental implant abutment is placed to connect the dental implant to the porcelain crown.

Porcelain crown:

Once our lab fabricates the new porcelain crown to exact specifications, we bond the crown to the abutment.

I have been seeing Dr.Steve and Jamie and all the staff for 3 years now and I think the world of all of them. I am now in Texas and going through terrible pain having had an absess and possibly another one now where they have to put me to sleep and it costs $2400 each time and I just wish I could go back to Casper and have Dr. Steve treat me! However I will be back in Casper for the first two weeks in June so guess where I am spending my time...Yes in Dr. Steve's chair and Jamie's

Very excited to go back and finish some work. Dr. Dacus was great and treated me like a human being not a burden/hypochondriac. Many dentist do what's best for their wallet and not the patient. This clinic is not one of those. Very recommended

I wanted to get a dental implant because I didn't think the doctor could save my tooth thanks to a previous dentist who was careless. When I went in the doctor surprised me in not only saving my tooth but it was painless and I feel great! I have a little work to be done thanks to that previous dentist but I know that I can trust this dentist office and the doctors there with my needs. I will never go to anyone else for my care with my teeth. I couldn't be happier with my choice of dentist!
